Grief is a natural process that enables people to deal with loss and we will all go through it at some time. The grieving process may be triggered by the loss of a pet, the breakup of a relationship, acts of terrorism, the death of a celebrity, the break up of a band or the loss of a job. In fact grief may be brought on by any type of perceived loss.
There are several recognised stages in the grieving process:
Denial
Anger
Bargaining
Depression
Acceptance
